What changed

v1.10 corrects a raid-end effect that consumed all of Gonjang's gold. The current stated cost is five percent. v1.08 had already clarified which wallet the description meant. Those two updates should be read together; a guide that uses town gold or the old total-wallet cost is describing a different behavior.

Check the cost in your save

Record Gonjang's personal gold immediately before the raid and again after its result. Keep other income and expenses visible in the comparison. For a simple 1,000-gold starting balance, five percent is 50 gold before any unspecified rounding or other simultaneous changes; this is arithmetic, not a claim about the effect's full benefit.

Do not infer a net profit from the cost alone. The official change does not give every activation detail, reward or recruitment condition. Inspect the current Special description and distinguish its trigger from ordinary town donations.

Recruitment and party planning

v1.05 improved Gonjang's discovery requirement display. Read the Contacts conditions in your current save; the patch did not provide a complete checklist that can be reproduced here. His class, profession and favorite gifts are deliberately not guessed.

Use him in a plan only after confirming the roles and abilities shown by the game. A member with a useful gold interaction still needs a practical place in the party or town. Review his row again when a future patch touches Affinity or personal gold.
