What the official sources confirm

  • You can build, move, demolish and edit roads while paused since v1.01.
  • v1.08 refunds construction gold when a building is demolished within ten real-time seconds.
  • Town Buffs can renew automatically while their materials last.
  • Reincarnation transfers 35% of building/land value plus members' personal gold as next-run town gold.

Practical use

What to do next

  1. 01

Write down the bottleneck before building: access, worker, ingredient or stock.

  2. 02

Inspect construction placement promptly so mistakes can be corrected within the refund window.

  3. 03

Budget Town Buff materials against the number of runs you plan.

  4. 04

Use production targets to prevent a valuable input from being exhausted.

Choose the next building by the work it unlocks

Write down one blocked task, then compare the building or upgrade that enables it with your current supply budget. Tavern construction unlocks Companion jobs; Gryphon Landing supports repeated dispatches. Those are distinct reasons to build, not a universal order that fits every town.

Read current material and town-level requirements in the construction panel. Costs changed in early patches without a complete published replacement table. When moving or replacing structures, use paused construction controls and remember that demolition is not instantaneous: v1.08 specifies ten real-world seconds and a gold refund.
