Current versus planned
The v1.08 announcement places Simri's replacement under upcoming changes. The current description uses percentage scaling tied to 500 Mana, while the proposal uses a fixed Spell Power increment tied to 2,500 Mana. Both end with the dungeon, but they are not interchangeable formulas.
The checked v1.09 and v1.10 announcements do not say that Guild Bank or this replacement has shipped. Inspect your skill description if a later build differs; do not choose the future formula merely because it appears beside the current one in a patch note.
What to record in a comparison
Keep the dungeon, Mana spent, starting Spell Power, other buffs and time in combat together. Comparing two end-of-run screenshots without those inputs can make unrelated differences look like a change in Simri's effect.
The percentage wording alone does not establish whether every interaction is additive or multiplicative with all other buffs. This page therefore reports the official trigger and effect without calculating a universal best build or an exact final-stat formula.
Planning around a future change
If you are committing equipment or a party around long fights, preserve a baseline in your notes so you can reassess when the update arrives. The future maximum of +5,000 Spell Power is an announced cap, not a current cap. Class, profession, recruitment and gifts still need direct evidence before they become filterable facts.
